A significant moment for male allyship as Lee Chambers meets Her Majesty Queen Camilla and champions the role of men and boys in ending violence against women and girls.
Male Allies UK was proud to be represented by its Founder and CEO, Lee Chambers, at the landmark Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Summit at Marlborough College, Wiltshire, on 23 October 2026, attended by Her Majesty Queen Camilla.
Bringing together national leaders, campaigners, survivors, policymakers and specialists, the summit provided an important platform for exploring how society can tackle violence against women and girls through collaboration, education and meaningful action.
Queen Camilla’s attendance brought significant national attention to the event, reinforcing the importance of the collective effort needed to address domestic abuse, sexual violence, coercive control and other forms of abuse.

Lee delivered a keynote which highlights a crucial part of the solution: men must be actively involved in creating a safer and more equitable society. As a business psychologist and recognised voice on positive masculinity and gender equity, Lee shared insights into how men can move beyond passive support and become active allies, challenging harmful behaviours, questioning damaging attitudes and taking responsibility for creating change. This is such an important part of tackling violence against women and girls.

For Male Allies UK, this message sits at the heart of everything we do. We believe ending gender-based violence cannot be achieved by placing the responsibility solely on women and survivors. Men have a vital role to play in challenging misogyny, influencing culture, and helping prevent harm before it happens. The summit was a valuable opportunity to connect with influential voices, strengthen partnerships and champion the importance of engaging men and boys in this national conversation.
Our message is simple: ending violence against women and girls is everyone’s responsibility. And men must be part of the solution. Together, we can turn awareness into action and build a future where everyone feels safe, respected and valued.
