Male Allies UK Attends a Royal Garden Party

It was a pleasure to be invited to the Royal Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse on 30th June 2026. Hosted by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, the party was also attended by the Princess Royal, Duke of Edinburgh, and the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry. It marked the official opening day of the Royal Week in Scotland, and was an incredible event to be part of.

Lee Chambers is wearing a light blue floral blazer and blue shoes smiling standing next to Anna Price in a white and red floral dress and bolero. The Palace of Holyrood house and lush gardens is behind them.

Pictured above is Lee with Anna Price, fellow committee member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). For the past three years, Lee has been a member of the board at CMI Women as part of their advisory committee, and most recently is supporting on the ‘Unlocking Leadership for Young Women: From Potential to Progression’ research.

It was a real honour to be one of the 8,000 guests at the Royal Garden Party, not only in such a historical setting, but being surrounded by people making an impact in their work and lives. It was brilliant to meet folks from Collective Scotland there, who we’ll be joining later this year for a roundtable discussion regarding the creation of a gender equality centre in Scotland.
