Last November Lee was invited to speak at the Women’s Forum for the Economy & Society Global Meeting in Paris. The year’s theme was Courage: Bold Moves for a Better World.
Lee spoke on the topic Modern Feminism: Beyond Divides – What Role Do We All Play? During the session the group explored how we can move beyond the divide that has grown in recent years to find common ground. We all have a role within the fight for equality and inclusivity across workplaces, society, and the economy and we can all benefit.
It’s crucial for men and women to come together, listen to one another, and learn to work across difference. Men gain so much from gender equity and inclusivity but division runs deep. Male Allies UK work across 15 different sectors to show men that gender equality isn’t a zero-sum game and how fairer and inclusive workplaces and society benefit men hugely as well.
